About us
We are a fishing club in the heart of stockport all in all we have three pools two in edgerley in the center of stockport that we lease of stockport council and one that we own in heaton mersey.We secured a grant from the national lottery to build a pool in heaton mersey as you can see at the bottom of the page how the pool looked on completion to the picture next to it on how it looks now it is like a little oasis.The top picture is that of the number three pool that is in alexandre park in edgerley which is a lovley water also day ticket so if your not a member you can go down to the number three or heaton mersey and get a day ticket form the baliff on the bank.The final picture in the middle of the page is the number two pool and is for members only that is locked by padlock. That you will get a key for on joining the club with a small fee.

The number two and three have many species of fish here is the list. ROACH,BREAM ,TENCH,RUDD,CRUCIAN CARP,MIRROR CARP,COMMON CARP,PERCH ,and in the number three there is also PIKE. The pool at heaton mersey is less than ten years old so the fish there are not huge but plenty of them this includes ROACH,TENCH, MIRROR,CARP,COMMON CARP,CRUCIANCARP,BREAM,GUDGEON,PERCH,
And please remember when fishing the waters please take any rubbish with you and any line as there is alot of bird life on the waters. And abide by the RULES on your day ticket. If you have any problems while fishing you can always speak to our friendly baliff who will try to sort out any issues you may have on the day.Prices on heaton mersey are £5 adult £3.50 for juniors and o.a.p and the same prices for the number three pool .
